The Lab
Junior Kitchen Lab is an afterschool culinary enrichment program designed specifically for school environments. Through engaging, age-appropriate food activities, students are introduced to foundational culinary techniques, nutrition education, teamwork, and healthy eating habits in a safe and supportive setting.
Our program is intentionally designed to operate without the use of stoves, ovens, or microwaves, making it easy to implement in classrooms, cafeterias, and multipurpose spaces with minimal disruption to school operations.
Junior Kitchen Lab follows a strict nut-free and gluten-free ingredient system with allergy-conscious planning integrated into every session. Each class is guided by supervised instruction and designed to encourage creativity, confidence, communication, and practical life skills through food exploration.
